Gain an inspiring, fresh and common sense perspective on one of the key issues of our time.
Father Dan Groody, C.S.C., Notre Dame professor of theology and global affairs and vice president and associate provost for undergraduate education, has written a systematic theology of migration that reframes political, social and cultural narratives. Drawing on accounts of migrants and refugees around the globe, Father Groody explores the outer journey of migrants, the inner journey of faith, and the divine journey into the world.
Pope Francis wrote the foreword to Father Groody’s latest book, “A Theology of Migration,” which the Catholic Media Association awarded first place in theology.

“This book could not come at a more opportune time, with ... hundreds of thousands of migrants crossing borders in search of safety and life,” said Peter Phan of Georgetown University, who called the book “an absolute must-read.”

Father Groody is the host of a podcast, “Heart’s Desire and Social Change.”
