Join us for a very special 25th silver anniversary of Celebration of Hope on Friday, April 21, 2023! A 25th silver anniversary is named for silver’s durability and strength, which we see in the people we serve every day. We’re grateful to honor 25 years of service by gathering with you, our community.

You can join us one of two ways on April 21, 2023:

In-Person: Purchase your tickets to our in-person gathering at the Portland Art Museum, with a celebration and program from 5:30–9:30PM (PT). This year, seating will be theater-style. Please see below for more information on what the in-person will be like.

Virtually: Tune in for an engaging virtual program from 7–8:15PM (PT).

Together, we'll reconnect with old friends as we welcome new beginnings. We’ll hear from Archbishop Sample and our new Executive Director, Natalie Wood. Natalie will share important updates about Catholic Charities of Oregon, and during the program, you’ll have the opportunity to give in support of life-saving services for vulnerable Oregonians.

Come help us honor Joe Weston, one of Oregon’s most generous philanthropists. We will recognize him for decades of major support for Catholic Charities with the Single Candle Award and highlight the tremendous community-wide impact he has had through the OCF Joseph E. Weston Public Foundation.

Our work at Catholic Charities shows us time and again that what feels impossible to overcome alone becomes much less overwhelming when we have others to lean on. 2023’s Celebration of Hope will offer ways we can all lead with courage and love—for our community and for ourselves.

Special thanks to our event co-chairs Debby K. Gentzen, Ngoc-Chau Ngo, Jeffrey K. Yandle, and Rebecca Arredondo Yazzie.

If you have any questions, please email Catholic Charities at donations@ccoregon.org.
